This Wednesday, May 17th is our monthly meeting at Bill Jackson’s on Rt. 19 in Pinellas Park.  Our meeting starts at approximately 6:30 with our speaker following directly after.  This month we are welcoming back Libby Carnahan, Florida Sea Grant Agent.  Libby spoke to us about a year ago and gave us a very informative talk on sea life including the Goliath Group Count and Coral.  This month she will be speaking to us about Florida Sea Turtles which is appropriate as nesting season is upon us.  Hope to see you at the meeting and don’t forget to bring a friend!

Our next monthly meeting will be Wednesday, March 15th at Bill Jackson’s in Pinellas Park.  Bill Jackson’s is located at 9501 US Highway 19 N, Pinellas Park, FL 33782.  Our meeting will start at about 6:30 and our guest speaker will start speaking at about 7:00.

Our speaker will be Tricia Trinque, owner of Fyzical Therapy & Balance Center in St. Petersburg.  She has been a physical therapist since 1979, earning her master’s degree at Medical College of Georgia.  She also taught there for four years.  Tricia then moved to Florida , working in various clinics until opening her practice, Seabreeze Physical Therapy, in 2004.  She recently joined a larger group of independent therapists.   Her area of expertise and passion evolved to focus on women’s health issues.  Her main topic will be on “staying safe and strong”.

For our February monthly meeting on February 15th, the first of 2017,  the speaker will be Captain Lori Deaton of Ladyfish Charters.  She has been chartering and fishing the Tampa Bay area since 1999.  She is also the founder and director of Hooked on Hope, a fishing tournament benefiting breast cancer.
